From my childhood, I associated with my Muslim neighbors and gradually learned about their faith. I studied the Bengali and English versions of the Holy Quran and the life story of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM). Over time, I became deeply attracted to Islam and decided to embrace it.

Accordingly, on the 10th day of May, 2012, I embraced Islam by reciting the Kalima “La Ilaha Illallahu Muhammadur Rasulullah (SM)” in the presence of witnesses under the guidance of the Imam of the local mosque at my present address. I adopted the name Rafiqul Islam.
