To know and understand Islam, it is better to verify for oneself rather than relying solely on what others say. Furthermore, by understanding it completely instead of partially, we can comprehend many more things. It is quoted from the Quran—
‘Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And Our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.’ – The Holy Quran, Surah 5, Al-Ma’idah, Ayah 32
‘O you who have believed, do not enter houses other than your own houses until you have asked permission and greeted their inhabitants. That is best for you; perhaps you will be reminded (of good manners).’ – The Holy Quran, Surah 24, An-Nur, Ayah 27
‘And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty, and Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.’ – The Holy Quran, Surah 24, An-Nur, Ayah 32
‘And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah. And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly. The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy. O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one’s] faith. And whoever does not repent – then it is those who are the wrongdoers. O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful.’ – The Holy Quran, Surah 49, Al-Hujurat, Ayah 9-12
‘O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu’ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.’ – The Holy Quran, Surah 62, Al-Jumu’ah, Ayah 9
‘O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous.’ – The Holy Quran, Surah 2, Al-Baqarah, Ayah 183
‘And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks forgiveness of Allah will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful.’ – The Holy Quran, Surah 4, An-Nisa, Ayah 110
‘Those who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people – and Allah loves the doers of good.’ – The Holy Quran, Surah 3, Ale-Imran, Ayah 134
‘And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not dispute and [thus] lose courage and [then] your strength would depart; and be patient. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.’ – The Holy Quran, Surah 8, Al-Anfal, Ayah 46
